The first name that comes to my mind is Demko although the Canucks still have some work to do before they get to the Pens/Bolts level.

What about Saros? Think he gets #1 spot next year or should we expect Rinne to lead the way again?

I think the crease is Rinne's as long as he's got the big contract. I'd expect him to start fewer games next season which would bump up Saros's icetime, but I don't see Saros as a full-time starter for another couple seasons at least. Especially if Rinne decides to sign a short deal to keep playing in Nashville.

Next year? No. Rinne is still signed for another season after this one. After that, who knows.

To answer your question though, I'm on the Demko train as well. I think Aaron Dell has a chance to move into a 1b type situation as well if he moves out from behind Jones, especially if he moves to a team with a weaker starter.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Nashville resign Rinne at the end of next season.

I could definitely see a 2 or 3 year deal with declining dollars. AAV lower than what he's at now would help the team going forward too. Plus, them having a solid backup leaves them the option of splitting the starts more as he slows down. I can't see it not making sense for Nashville.

totally.. If Rinne has another year like this or last, it would be very hard not to resign him.. It's similar to when Vokoun left, although I just don't have Saros in the same level as Rinne at that stage.

Hellebuyck, it's happening now - only difference is that he had junk in front of him in Pavelec, and they borught in more junk to play in front of him in Mason.

If you want a young guy taking over from an established good goalie, that's a bit harder to peg. Saros is a good choice, because Rinne has been good. Lots of teams aren't good enough in net to make the analogy work.

Another name that stands out is Tristan Jarry, especially if Murray keeps going down for chunks of the season. Could easily see it turn into a situation almost like Elliot/Allen. Jarry just needs to run with the chances he gets while Murray is on the IR.
