Good Lord, I hope the US scores on this PP. That would be something.

Still can't believe they gave up two short handed goalies. Ouffff

Yeah, Liljegren was definitely noticeable in the last two periods. I don't know how he managed to be completely invisible in the first.

I started thinking about the All-Star selections already. Dahlin's spot there should be a given now (as well as the best D-man award). I'd want to put Gustavsson, Pettersson, Andersson and Nylander there as well but I know that's not possible. From USA, Fox and Mittelstadt should be there as well. Maybe they'll put Hart there from Canada - I can't really figure out who else to select from them. What about Necas and Zadina? So my best guess right now would be:
    Andersson-Mittelstadt-Necas
    Dahlin-Fox
    Hart

    Best goalie: Gustavsson
    Best D-man: Dahlin
Best forward: this will be a tough one - and the same guy probably gets MVP as well

Can Hart get the All-Star and Gustavsson the Best Goalie? That seems weird.

To be honest, everybody knew that this Canadian team was a "by committee" type and it wouldn't surprise me if none show up for this stuff.

C'mon Canada let's bury these guys early. Well, early in the 2nd. Just came back from a Timmies run (it's the Canadian thing to do) and seen we were down 1-0. I must be good luck, should go for round 2 and we might get 2 quick goals in the 2nd .... lol

I love Ray Ferraro as a commentator. Him and Gord Miller make a good combo. All they're missing is Pierre "YES I CAN, BECAUSE" McGuire. If you can get that joke then I'll give you a lot of props lol.

One really does not want to give this Czech team a power play. Man they look great with the man advantage...

I believe reggiebarnes was the one advocating that the Batherson line should play more. Nice call.

They’re rolling four lines well now. McLeod isn’t great but they can’t overplay guys like steel

Man Canada was slow out of the gate but once they got rolling there was no stopping them. Dominating victory.

The Gold will come down to goaltending and scoring depth.
The goaltending is a wash between SWE and CAN, but CAN gets the edge over SWE for their depth.
Either way, I expect a close game and I am standing by my prediction of a CAN win.
