The reason is because he's not a great defensive catcher, he's just a bat. He's like a worse Sanchez.
He can get something but teams will low ball the Marlins, and all the Marlins have to tell Realmuto is if he wants out, play well to raise your value. If he decides to be bad, he won't get traded if it's mid-season.
