Hello guys,
I want to know who's your yet-to-be-called-up impact rookie or prospect for the remaining of the season? Last year we saw Sheary, Guentzel, Mantha and others emerge late in the season with impressive numbers. Ghost made a similar splash right out of the gates two years ago.
For my own money, I am betting on Strome, Svechnikov and Chabot. I think Strome is the most likely to be called up sooner than later, so he would be my #1.
Who's yours?

Add Sprong to the list.
Lucas Wallmark could be a nice sleeper prospect who makes an impact later this season. It also wouldn't surprise me if Klim Kostin did the same but that's probably less likely to happen this season.
From the guys who are already up but haven't produced much, I'd keep an eye on Eriksson Ek, Kunin, Jankowski, Fischer and Puljujarvi. It's more likely someone like that makes an impact later this season.
I'll add Colin White in Ottawa. He's getting back up to speed in the AHL following a preseason injury.
I don't know if these two will get called up or not but people were pretty high on Oskar Lindblom in Philly before he got sent down, and maybe Henrik Haapala in Florida.

Tyson Jost should have a significant role on the Avs for the rest of this season.
Jack Roslovic is another name that could be a very good NHL player if he gets a chance in the NHL. This one is a bit less likely since Winnipeg has quite a bit of depth at forward.
Im not sure on Nylander but Id really like to see if he is that guy. I moved him- but had high hopes (and still do)- will see though- he has struggled.
I really like Gusev too although he'll be a wait.
Halfway hopeful we might have a late bloomer in Sikura- fun to watch!! (Admittedly only highlights :P ).
As others mentioned Kamenev- I was actually interested before the move- and the trade only helps his stock imho...
EDIT: Sorry misread- Sikura or Gusev will not be this year. On that note though- Ive heard rumors that Tolvanen will be eligible for a few games when the KHL season ends...

I'm excited to see what happens with Ryan Donato when Harvard's season ends in March. I think he's done after his third year there. Boston might be able to use him right away. Funny he doesn't get much love on Dobber Prospects Bruins prospect Top Ten though. Anyone have insights on Donato?
