Sorry. Points only..
Need to pick two guys from this list. HELP. Any extra info on these guys would be great. Holmstrom, J Williams, Stafford, Hudler, Langenbrunner.
Sorry. Points only..
Jason Williams Atlanta that is...
I would go with Stafford and Holmstrom.... however Holmstrom\'s health issues scare me a little sometimes, enough to even select Langenbrunner ahead of him.... if it\'s a keeper league than I also like Hudler, but he\'ll be bouncing around lines 2 and 3 in DET, since a top 6 spot is not definite, I would certainly hold back if this were a 1 year league.

I like Jason Williams and Holmstrom. Both guys will be playing with skilled players (Williams only has Kovy, but that\'s enough to help him reach the 50-60)

Williams- 24g-35a
Holmstrom- 30g-32a

I think that Hudler & Jason Williams clearly have the best upside for the coming season.
1) Jason Williams - Atlanta has few other options. He was very wise to sign here. The Thrashers will be forced to overlook any of his deficiencies. Lots of time on extra teams & Kovy. 50 points is reasonable to hope for. Wonder for more. Providing Williams works hard with this opportunity, he will start to entrench himself as a legitimate NHL player. (see Andrew Brunette)
2) Hudler is diminished somewhat with all the strength in Detroit. He is steadily progressing and should step forward a bit more again this year. Skill isn\'t a concern. Primarily his biggest issue is skating. Easy choice to find solid PP time. Again I hope for 50 points.
Stafford. Again an interesting young player that is steadily establishing his NHL worthiness. He should build on last years efforts. I don\'t think he has as much offensive upside as Williams or Hudler, but he doesn\'t bring significant NHL deficiencies to the table, as do the other two. 50 points is a bit of a stretch. Mid 40\'s is as optmistic as I\'d call for him. Injuries in Buffalo could assist him. (Connolly, Afino, etc.)
Everyone else on your list is a legitimate NHL warrior with an upper window in the 50 point range. They aren\'t bad choices, but don\'t feature a potential break out, nor an exciting long term window.
Keeps it coming guys. Thanks.
