More people hating on goalies that usual this year.
Mostly because previously great starters have been crapping the bed.
Lundqvist: better lately, but steep downhill slide
Price: Team sucks AND he sucks
Talbot: Team sucks and he sucks
Andersen: Still has wins, but his percentage based stats are toilet
Gibson: Playing great, but only 0.50 due to team injuries
Dubnyk: underwhelming 0.5
Rask: streaky and only 2 wins, 4 losses
Murray: wins yes, GAA and sv% subpar
People who picked up platoon options like Elliott and Mason, Luongo and Reimer, Greiss, Darling, or less sure starters like Raanta, Howard, Halak, lehner or Varlamov will have grievances with one stat or another.
When that many goalies expected to be surefire starters are tanking their teams, we will have unhappy campers. It is normal every year for a lot of teams to be sieves, but it seems more pronounced among the top 10 goalies than usual this year.
I was running Talbot and Price for a little while in my keep 5 league, so I am glad I swapped Jones in for Price while I could. My goalie stats are league worst out of 14 teams, but somehow I am still in 5th place by virtue of scoring and timely roster streaming. This will be my first week with jones back in the fold. Wish me luck :P I tend to curse my Sharkies

He's on pace for 101 points with the Oilers being the lowest scoring team in the NHL right now. Once the Oilers start scoring more regularly, and they will, he will probably increase his pace a bit. What are you expecting from him?Originally Posted by gainerama

Most of the guys on these lists are guys that Im targeting in deals. I find that other GM's give up on guys way too early so you could scoop up some of these guys at discounted rates.

Okposo seemingly hasn't recovered from last year's hospital stay, and Darling has played well enough but the Hurricanes haven't shown a lot of improvement in front of him.
