Guess it's time to sit Price... Or should I?

Price vs Fla
Reimer vs Mtl
Condon vs LA

Mostly need Sv% and GAA. Not that I can't use the win, but the peripherals are more important now. I'm thinking Reimer and Condon tonight. LA on the b2b in Ott and Reimer off a good game last turn and facing the leagues worst offense tonight.

Of course if I play Reimer and Price I'm guaranteed a W, but at what cost to peripherals? The way I'm planning to do it could net me 1 or two wins, but could also be none as well. Thoughts on this?

Price because it’s Price. A cold streak or a fluke period has to end at some point and I’m banking on it being tonight at home vs Florida.

Condon because Ottawa is gellin’ and Condon is a great backup on a well-rounded team facing L.A. that may be without Quick in a back-to-back game.

I hate guessing at goalies because anything can happen on any given night, but I think I'd start both Price and Reimer. While Montreal struggles to score, they have been shooting a lot so that helps Reimer's save percentage (assuming the trend of the Habs crappy scoring continues).

Always a crapshot IMO but I have no issues with any combo as LA is banged up and back end of a back to back

Preface, I'm a habs fan.

The Canadiens have to score eventually.....4 days off since there embarrassing loss to the Ducks, gotta figure Price comes out in beast mode and they finally score some goals.

As others have noted I'd also look at Condon based on the LA B2B and Ottawa playing well.

Start Price all week - the Habs are at home and if they're to turn things around it starts now, and it starts with Price. I'd bet we see him put up sub 2.25 GAA and .930+ Sv% on this home stand.

Thank you all for the replies. It's a tricky one. I also believe that if Price turns it around, it starts tonight. You can never actually know for sure what's going to happen but I hate the idea of sitting Condon tonight because I know LA is on the back to back. Still, I can't see the Montreal ? Florida game being a high-scoring one, but what the hell do I know? Lol... At the very least it's a guaranteed W there but I'm in need of SV% so badly that Condon and Reimer are tempting....

I can see arguments for all possible combinations but this is my pick. You say you're focused on GAA and SV% and both Montreal and Florida are having troubles scoring.
Also guarantees a win. I get the Kings are in a back-to-back but they are shooting the lights out so far this season.

Interesting to see the shots at Florida's offense, they have 24 goals in 7 games playing TBLx2, PITx2, WAS, STL and PHI and have scored 3+ in all but 1

and Id probably play Price and Reimer

I benched price this week in my weekly matchup. I saw 3 games at home and thought this could be the beginning of things for them, but price has been such an anchor so far for me. I benched him as I had other decent options. I'm chiming in hoping this will jinx things and price will perform miraculously on my bench, and then I can go back to starting him next week and the ROS.
