Colorado likes this guy too and they obviously don't want to trade him or they would have already. My bet is that they know his talent too and know he's a 60 pt guy on another roster but can't get the value out of him they want in a deal. Until he asks for a trade or says he's out of CO in a contract year my bet is he's staying around ... Or he could be traded tomorrow, you never know... Hence the speculation

His attitude seems to leave a lot to be desired. I think he is that talented, but he still would worry me a lot with an attitude like that. A lot of coaches might not take that crap and push him down just because he's being a selfish $@#&

His attitude wasn't the problem last season as management and coaching was a sh*tshow, and they actually quit on him. Even with Sakic's trade BS, he still came to camp and shows up for every game like a pro. If COL doesn't want him, I'm sure every other team in the league would take him in a heartbeat if he really was available.

Honestly I am beginning to doubt Duchene is moved until after Sakic is fired. His asking price for Duch is utterly ludicrous and there is no sign he is going to budge. You might have to settle in and wait a while.
