    Default Vesey

Haven't caught any of the Rangers games yet, but what's Vesey's deal?

Saw he started out on a checking line. Is he there to stay? Any sense that he'll mp e up and get some PP time? Still have the prospect of being a solid offensive contributor, or is he looking like more of a role player?

Just trying to get a sense from those who may have more intel of what's fair to expect of the kid.

    Thanks all.

With the talent that's in TOR now, that's pretty much where he belongs now. To be honest, I completely forgot he was even in the NHL, after the first 20 games in 2016.

OTher than looking like A 12 year old when the camera panned the bench... yeah, he’s fairly inconsequential.

Interesting. So he goes from highly sought after college free agent one year, to complete JAG in his second year? That very well may be, just interesting if that's the case because he was viewed by many as being a potential impact player long term heading to his rookie campaign last season.

Same deal for Schultz... but he found his own when he was traded to a destination NOT of his choosing. Maybe that what young Vesey needs.

This is the Alain Vigneault way. He makes the juniors really earn their time - not clear whether that's conservatism or a training philosophy. See, e.g., JT Miller. Vesey has a lot of talent, but this probably isn't his year to shine.
    H2H 14 team, 19-man roster, limited keeper (draft round matters). G / A / P / PPP / PIM / FW / BS // W / SV / GAA. My greatest wish: that Yahoo would offer DEF as a category.

he'll never be a star but could be a solid top 6 wing nonetheless not consistent and as stated invisible at times. Only one who looks to have stark improvement is Zibanejad.
