I am hoping to have time to do a proper standings update for all the leagues this evening. But in case I don't, I wanted to put this up here in case it's the only time this season I'm in this position:

1 Hanz Labyrinth 74.5 (yours truly)
    2 The Jobbers 74
    3 Last Resort 69.5
    4 Mario's Team 69
    5 Yellow Dogs 68

Nice to see several of my players have a strong second half of the season. Especially the goalies, thanks to Jones, Raanta and Kinkaid!

Even if I fall back out of contention, considering my first half of the season I feel fortunate to be in with a shot this late.

And that awful draft. Your pinch-hit drafter should have been fired

Haha what awful draft? I'm glad I was patient early on, though. Or was I just not paying attention enough to do much...not sure.

Following the draft, my pick up of the year was definitely Couturier, followed by Dustin Brown.

I did not feel happy with that draft haha. You did a great job with the team though!

Gonna be tight. I think I have about 6 points available for me to grow, 3 of which I'll get by default of games in hand (as long as I get the games in and don't get donuts from my guys for each game in hand). A couple bad goalie games, however, could put he in trouble, as could a sudden A/PPP/HIT drought. I think Horrorfan has more points to lose due to the games-played issue (relative to who's chasing him in the SOG and HIT cats), but he can pick up like 3 point in Wins alone if all goes well. Gonna go right down to the wire, I'd say.

Hanz Labryrinth takes it, 77 to 74.5 points -- congrats, sir!

We went into the final evening tied at 77 points, but my team totally shat the bed... I iced 18~ skaters and 2 goalies, and finished with a stat line that looked something like this: 2G, 4A, -19, ~5.50 GAA. Ah well: so close, but so far.

I needed that minus 19 to tie for third. So, I appreciate that. Unless something stupid happens with that one game today.

Does today's 1 game even count for points? In my ESPN league, it doesn't...

I think ESPN is the only platform not counting it.
