Lack of PP has me hesitating...but would he be worth an add at the expense of Okposo or Atkinson?

Grabbed him at the expense of Connor Brown. So I'm thinking better than Connor Brown ROS.

I took him in our draft last year but he never stuck (same as Heinen). I don't want to get too excited over one game but he is for sure superior to Brown as you say.

Definitely, but he should have a bright future. I think he's a safe bet and man, look at that Heinen, late bloomer or what??

i was biting my tongue til I got him!! I got him!! I probably overpaid ($11 out of my 100 FAAB budget- lol!)- but I got him!

Hes a legit top prospect on any team- not just for the Crosby factor AND he was destroying the AHL (player of the month) before this call up. Pure sniper. His first game he posted six shots and I actually watched his third game. He basically had a goal if it werent for a really awkward bounce- just bad puck luck (this came right after a brutal turnover on his part though ftr). He just looked dangerous all game even on the third line, he looked hungry, dialed in and playing a very "fast" game.

    Then this happened:

    https://www.nhl.com/video/recap-pit-...022/c-56443303

1st Goal- Good things happen when you play with Crosby! Shows good instincts to be there though and doesnt flinch on the execution.
1st Assist- Ok this doesnt even happen unless you're playing with Crosby- lol! Showcases his shooters mentality though and you gotta love it when Crosby looks like he might actually click with a player.
2nd Goal- Just when you thought he was going to be riding coat tails the whole time- boom! Thats what Sprong brings. Hes a legit talent in his own right- even moreso than Guentzel was/is in my estimation.

Yes this is a bit of a hot take (I admit it)- but Ive been watching his boxscores, higlights and games since the call up and have honestly felt like he just needed a bounce or two and the dam would burst. Well its happened, as BP so eloquently put it- the SPRONG has sprung!!!

Im not sleeping on this one friends...
