It's unlikely Sprong makes it to the NHL this year. I think barring an injury to the top 6, he will play BIG minutes in the "A" this year. However...if he does get the call up look no farther than Geunzel type of upside if he gets to play with Geno or Croz. Kid is a goal scorer and the future RW on the club...very PHILish.

He played on the third line and had 6 shots on net.
Pens have recalled Simon, wonder if they compete for a roster spot for the short term. Wish Sprong sticks to the lineup, I'm eager to see what he could do ROS.

Don't really know how to gauge Sprong. As others have mentioned he's on the 3rd line for now. What's his upside if he got a top 6 role? Is he like a possible 60 point guy? Or are his numbers likely to be inflated if playing in the top 6? From everything reading he's being called a true sniper.
