Bouwmeester or McCabe?

G/A/PIM/+-/PPP/GW salary cap league

Bouwmeester is 4.875
McCabe is 5.75
Chara is also an option but his 7.5 million makes it VERY difficult

I\'m very tight on cap space and that extra million could be very handy in filling my bench. None of these guys wind up being keepers in our league simply because of the cap space so i\'m essentially looking at only this year with the outside chance I will keep him.

Well in this case I would take Jaybo as you don\'t need him next year when he gets expensive as well

J-Bo easily the best option. He should get 40+ points, with 50 not out of the question depending where he gets traded.

McCabe- Too many injury concerns, plus adjusting to a new team. And how will he perform when J-Bo inevitably gets traded? Salary is also too high for not enough of a payoff, imo.

Chara- Salary is too high and he\'s only gottten over 43 points once in his whole career. Was last year a sign of things to come at 31 or an abhoration? I think the latter.

I\'d side with Bouwmeester especially if there is at least a 1 in 3 shot that you would keep him on into the future. I like what the Panthers have done this off-season and I think Bouwmeester is going to have a good year. Let\'s also not forget that he could become a FA after this season and he has plenty of $$$ reasons to have a real nice season :cheer:

well, I have JBo and Caber.... McCaber cause I think He\'ll have some thing to prove and J Bo cause he just might be playing for a contender at the deadline
