Only think I ask from the MTL media is to not crucify / over analyze everything he does because he's french-canadian......but I know that won't happen.

Re-sign Radulov and the line are shaping up.....still need a decent center unless MB is content with Chucky & Danault.

Rumors are floating that this is one of 2, maybe 3 moves in play for the Habs. Spezza's name has been circulating... I'll see if I can find a trusted source regarding that and start another thread not to crash this one....

Galchenyuk re-injured his knee after he returned. He wasn't right the rest of the way. He had a down year but the blame game was comical.

I think that 5 years from now this trade will look extremely lopsided in TB's favor. Calling it now, Sergachev turns out to be an absolute beast whereas Drouin will continue to show just enough flashes for people to keep getting their hopes up in between bouts of not-giving-a-shit play and getting injured.

If they (hopefully) move Galch back to C, they still need a 2C IMO. Danault is at best a 3C and Plekanec is a good 3C, and Shaw is awful

I guess Tampa really wanted to keep Johnson and Palat, so now they can while also getting their hands on a defenseman who could be a difference maker. Sure - they give up Drouin in the process, but did they really need him, considering on their team he's likely a Brayden Schenn type who produces well on the PP but isn't a difference maker at 5x5.

montreal doesn't seem like they will be able to devleop galchenyuk properly so if they trade him for someone like duchene i think they have a good chance at reaching the conference final next season

Yeah saw / heard a couple of those.....but I don't give them much weight during the offseason.

I'd be ok with Spezza at the right price.
