Keeper pool: In a points only format who would you prefer to have?
i'm leaning towards the ghost because he's younger, had a mixed year and still got 39 points, I expect 50 points every year and doughty at 27 has a lot of mileage and is good for 45 points.
let me know.
thanks

I think Doughty is exactly what we see from him. He already averages 28 minutes per game and over 3 minutes of PP time per game. I don't see how he can get any more opportunities than he's already getting. I am not sure if the coaching change will change much seeing as it's their long time assistant who's taking control. I just dont know if his philosophy will change much.
Points only, I'd gamble on Gostisbehere to bounce back.

Points only i would take chance on Gostiberhere. As stated, i think we know Doughty's floor/ceiling at this point. I do not think we have seen Gostibehere's. Although, it is a risk with Ghost because of the small sample size, but more possible upside imo. Doughty would be the "safe" pick.

I'll take Ghost and the risk. He could have a good year he finished strong.
Doughty and his consistency for me

I guess the bigger question for me is Doughty's supporting cast v Ghost's opportunities.
Doughty is the main man in LA and there is no concerns re anyone cannibalising his ice time but will the supporting cast always 'limit' his true upside? As Axe references I'm not convinced the coaching change changes much based on replacement - and the fact the players are the same with the same limitations as a group. Ghost's concerns revolve around ice time and opportunity - Provorov is an emerging stud but I feel that's more as am all round D man and subsequently Ghost 'should' see the prime offensive minutes and I don't mind the Flyers forward corps compared to the Kings...
long answer short - Ghost
