I like Vilardi personally but it will be nice to know where everyone goes.
I'm sitting on #3 in my draft in my 30 teamer league courtesy of the Dallas lottery win and unsure who to take.
Multi cat, cap league, my team has some solid pieces but still probably 2 years away from attempting to compete. Deep on D, ton of wingers in my system, thin at C.
G, A, PT, +/-, PIM, STP, Shots, GWG, Hits, Blocks, FOW, TOI-SH
Nico and Patrick will go 1 and 2.
Our draft is done before the real one, we begin on June 1, so won't know who lands where.
I think it comes down to Middlestadt or Vilardi for me at #3. Glass would probably be 3rd option but I think it's probably a 2 horse race.
Who would you take?
I like Vilardi personally but it will be nice to know where everyone goes.

I'd probably go with Vilardi right now but could swing my vote towards Mittelstadt just as easily.
Vilardi for me too.
I have Vilardi currently in the 3 spot as well.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
.....from a TSN article on April 27 (two weeks ago)Eleven of the 12 scouts who chose Patrick as No. 1 had Hischier at No. 2. One of the 12, however, had Finnish defenceman Miro Heiskanen at No. 2 and Hischier at No. 3.
Heiskanen, by the way, is No. 4 on TSN's Draft Lottery edition rankings, just behind Windsor Spitfire forward Gabe Vilardi, who is a clear No. 3.
Vilardi isn't currently playing as his Spits were eliminated by the London Knights in the first round of the OHL playoffs. He will be back on the ice at the Memorial Cup in May, as Windsor is the host team.
Vilardi was drafted into the OHL as a smart and skilled centre, but has been playing mostly on the wing for the Spitfires. He was No. 4 on the mid-term rankings.
Minnesota high-school centre Casey Mittelstadt, who also played in the USHL at times this season, rounds out TSN's Top 5 in the same slot he was in on TSN's mid-season list.
Heiskanen is the only “new” member of TSN's Top 5 compared to the mid-season rankings of late January.
The Finnish blueliner has been rocketing up the scouting charts, moving from No. 13 on our list to No. 4, effectively replacing Swedish defenceman Timothy Liljegren, who went from No. 3 at mid-season to No. 12 on the draft lottery rankings list. Heiskanen is the consensus top defenceman available in this draft.
Another G. Vilardi vote! He had a better (and a tad longer) season than his teammate Brown who went 11th last year. I think he'll be a special player.

I can't list my 2nd main keeper as there are too many players, but it is a keep all H2H points-only league
Just a thought - is Shipachyov considered in this draft or not?
In my main league, he is considered eligible for our entry draft as he has 0 games played in the NHL. He could provide instant results rather than a project.

Based on watching him in youtube videos, I'm going to go with Casey Mittelstadt as well. He has that good-ole American high-end skill that we've become accustomed to.
We may look back in a few years and wonder why he was not in the discussion for 1st overall.

What happened to Tolvanen? I always thought he was on track to be the third best offensive player in this draft.
I have the same dilemna, as I have #3 but also #6 and #12 for points only. Because I have #6, I'm even looking at maybe Heiskanen at 3 then whoever between Vilardi/Mittelstadt/Glass at 6.
Based on what I've seen above, and how they were viewed last year at this time, I think it's Vilardi but it's close.
