If the Leafs play loose with nothing to lose, they could make this series very interesting. If Washington goes down more than 1-0 in this series they will tighten up a lot. They are running the risk of becoming the Sharks of the East. They can't afford any real adversity in the 1st round.
That's the real wild card here.

I so miss Bob Cole when it reaches the finals. Gord Miller just sounds so robotic to me that it takes away from the game.

Good game by Leafs. Defence kept the game simple. Polak, Hunwick & March were rock solid.
Better & more experianced team(right now) won. Lesson Learned.
While I still expect them(Caps) to win in 5 or 6 games they just for some reason dont scare me like certain other teams.
