agreed and I would argue is one of the main reasons the Leafs are in (I say argue - not sure anyone would disagree TBH!) but I think the Caps are a well oiled machine

Caps in 4... before the rookies realize what playoff hockey is... they will be eliminated.
Too many rookies on the important lines for the leafs.... playoff experience is on the 4th line that will only be playing 10 -13 minutes a game... not enough to calm the rookie jitters.

Caps in 6; Leafs surprise the Caps in the first game and the Caps win 3 in-a-row afterwards. The Leafs stay alive in game 5 but eventually lose it in 6 to the mighty Capitals.

I like this narrative. Also chose Capitals in 6.
I think the Babcock factor and the pure excitement of the kids will propel them out of the gate catching the Capitals a little off guard before skill and experience takes over for the rest of the series. For one more time this season the Leafs leave the hockey world impressed with what they are able to accomplish making it a tight series, but ultimately falling short.

I like Toronto to win a game. I don't see a Babcock factor or any of that nonsense. They just don't have the personnel to compete. Washington will choke eventually so it's a decent draw for them, but either Ottawa or Washington would have put them away quite quickly.

Caps in 4. There not going to play around with Toronto at all. They are going out for blood and taking no days off. If the caps go 6+ with Toronto that is bad news for them going forward.

Speaking as a Leaf fan, I cant see them winning more than 1 maybe 2 games. It's not like they're going into the playoffs with good momentum.
Anderson, if he's good to go, will be pretty cold as well.
One big positive: I'm happy with the fact that they can't lose in a shootout anymore.
