I know I'm over 10, but there are so many so close to each other that it almost comes down to a preference in tier 4

The just below tier 3 with a long term keeper mindset for pts only could arguably also include Ghost, Werenski, Krug, and Faulk,

Can there be two Tier 2 guys from one team? I realize Josi and Subban are incredibly talented but I wonder if both fall back to the pack or even get passed by a couple Tier 4 guys. Is this point over-stated?
Weber and Josi both two tier two guys over the last 2-3 years. Same team.

Schultz and Letang although health issues have happened both could of been 50+ points this year.

If your league has IR or allows for injured players to be subbed for, I think Letang need to be in Tier 1, even if it's points only but especially if it's any sort of multi-cat.
Dating back to 2011-12, Letang has produced at a rate of 0.904 points per game rate. So let's say he only manages to give you 60 games in a season - you're still looking at 54 points in those games. And assuming you can plug in a 35 point type of defenseman for him such that the replacement plays in 16 of the 22 games that Letang missed - voila, there's 7 more points, for a total of 61. While I realize Letang could play fewer than 60 games, but he also could play more, as he did in each of the two previous full seasons.

Do we think Werenski takes a step forward or a step back as a Sophomore?
Doesn't hurt that his Shooting % and STP rate are both reasonably sustainable for a PP1 dman.

With the keeper format in mind, how long do you think Burns stays on top? he's 32 and I think that he's right on the top of his peek. Also, SJ in general does not have a young core team, declining across the team will start soon I would think (Pavelski 32, Thornton 37, Marleau 37, Vlasic 29). So knowing all that, how many years has he left with elite production? and is it still justified to take him in a draft as our main D/1st pick? Would it be ?safer? or better to take a lesser elite (today) but younger and with potential to grow his game type of D than taking a maybe declining Burns?? I think its important to think long term when drafting in a keeper. Burns might help you win the first 2-3 year but is it worth it? LOL I know it might sound stupid for some but it makes me wonder what you guys think about that factor?
