nah the guy looks like he is trying to shift dubious cap to you - I want to know whats out there in the draft that he is working so hard to get at - it might be something you need to be looking at as well.
Hey all,
I got some good help on D yesterday and I thank you.
I was offered a trade last night:
Dubinsky (f)
Wideman (d)
2nd Round Draft Pick
For
I would give up:
3,000,000
4th Round Draft Pick
Now, I still need a total of 5 D and 3 Forwards to complete my roster. We have a 50,000,000 Cap that I have 22,000,000 left. Both the player salary\'s are under 1M per season, just wondering if those two were worth my extra money?
G, A and +/- count in this keeper pool.

Great points Shoeless! Barring the obvious shedding of salary on his part, and what is available on the open market, Dubinsky and Wideman are decent players. Dubinsky should see top 6 minutes, and Wideman should be on the 1st PP unit with Chara. That being said, there are lots of players who could give you the same type numbers, so if you feel you can do better by adding minimal salary, I would probably take Shoeless\' advice and look at who is left to fill out your roster.

15 Team Keeper League - 20 roster spots (4C 4L 4R 6D 2G)
Point Categories - G A +/- PIMS GAA SV%
Protect 13-15 *$80 Team cap
C - Bergeron, Zibanejad,
L - Connor, Marchand, Olofsson
R - Nylander, Wheeler, Gallagher, Rust
D - Carlson, Josi, Nurse
G - Vasilevskiy
I agree with Shoeless. Wideman is OK at \"D\", but I\'d bet there are still a number of players out there that would give you similar numbers and I know there are 100\'s of players equal to Dubinsky. Don\'t get swindled by a few good pre-season games by Dub\'s.
I\'d take a quick look to see if Pietrangelo is available ofter the EJ news. He will be big. Another sleeper that\'s probably avaialable that also benefits from the EJ injury is Steve Wagner.
So, I went back and got rid of dubinsky in the trade...I asked for Filppula instead.
I know the extra money is bad, but I don\'t have enough draft picks that are high picks to get any decent players.
Filpulla makes this trade a bit better for me...I think

I\'m not sure that i would be making this deal.... in essence you are paying double their salary as you have to take them on, and give up $3 million. With the salary cap space you have, and only 8 players to complete your roster, there has to be better options out there for you.
