He's already been recalled once this season for a short term stint. I think he's an option for recall again this year.
As far as upside goes, to me he projects as a solid 3C for the Flames down the road. He's a solid FOW guy but limited offensive upside in the bigs. I can see him being a decent 40-50 pt guy once he gets there full time, which is still probably another year or two away. I can see him being a Matt Stajan replacement when his contract expires at the end of next season.
