This is for a one year league. Do you really think JT will outperform Drai ROS? I don't, not this year, with that team. Keeper might be a different story.

I know he's in the worse situation team wise. But he's the superior player. He's clearly "the man" on his squad. And, I think he has like a 4 or 5 extra games advantage over Draisaitl between now and year-end (I think the Isles are tied for the fewest games played to date, while the Oilers are up near the top).

I would take Tavares. He is the odds on favourite to produce the most points from now until the end of the season. Nuff said. Draisaitl would be the underdog.

Draisatl's only red flag is SH%. He is twice as productive on the PP with less time. The 5 game difference will hardly matter. It's +/- one point.

Don't look now, but there's a hatty on 6 SOGs tonight for Tavares.

It's one game, I know. But let's not forget that the guy is really good at hockey. Maybe it pans out maybe it doesn't, but I'd be wary of concluding outright that it will hardly matter that Tavares has several games in hand when trying to predict ROY production vs Draisaitl.

Another JT vote... As you say in your own argument Draisatl produces more in half the pp time yet he's not really seeing an increase in pp time and I think the isles pp gets better

Another vote for Tavares. As dejeanneret said, he is "the guy" for the Islanders and while it could be close I have to take JT here. IMO the 4 extra games can absolutely make a difference, it's not like JT isn't capable of getting hot for 4 games and giving you the extra edge in the end. You also get a boost in the SOG department.
