Default Infinite Injuries - Make Moves or Sit?

    Currently Injured:

    Nash,
    J Benn
    Toffoli
    Galchenyuk

I feel like i've missed significant player games because of all of these injuries and it's been hard to scrape together wins over the last couple of weeks.

On the bright side: I'm 9-2 this season, good for first in the league. Although I likely won't hold on to it the way things have been going, my team is in a position now where it can ride out some of the bad times.

Also very interestingly, a GM in my league has dropped both Pastrnak and Pietrangelo. These are both players that I think could be potential upgrades, but neither are real clear upgrades in my opinion. Pietrangelo seems like a must add, but Pastrnak is a little less valuable in a league that counts hits.

Is it time to cut some of my injured players loose in order to put a claim in for these waiver players? Or even considering dropping an under-performing Kopitar (I am very heavy on center when Galchenyuk gets back)?

I think I'd be able to help more if I knew who else is available in the wire.

In a pinch, my first inclination is to say:" drop Nash".

    Bottleneckers (12/16 in 2022)
    16 team, points only. G: 2-W, 4-SO.
    Top 9F, 4D & 1G . Keep 15, Max 23
F: J. Robertson, J. Hughes, Tavares, Lafreniere, Cozens, Newhook, Teravainen, Domi, R. Strome, Laine, Rossi, Raymond, Holtz, Perfetti
    D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen
    G: Vasilevskiy

I would drop Nash for Horvat or Little.

A shot is worth as much as a hit so I'd be happy to take Pasta... Persinally I think there is enough on the waiver wire to drop Nash AND Toffoli

I woul drop Toffoli first although Nash can be dropped too. Problem is Nash has been good when healthy and rangers have been very good offensively too.

Hate to break it to you, but Pietrangelo is pretty lousy in Hits when it comes to defensemen. I also agree that Pasta should be owned. Yes - he was unsustainably hot, but now he's unsustainably cold. Grab him for when he rights his ship.

Luckily the scoring is overall points, so hits aren't a deal breaker. I just figured in a league where Defensemen such as Demers and Niskanen were owned on top 4 teams, Pietr might have been worth a flyer as a 5th defenseman

Nash for Pastrnak is definitely something you should do.
