Got offered R.Luongo 4 N.Backstrom & R.Miller?

What do you guys think? I was thinking of countering with DiPietro & Backstrom. I really like Backstrom though:angry:

I wouldn\'t do it. Backstrom will be, barring no injuries, top 15 in the league in points for 10-15 years. Miller is on the up on a young team with a lot of promise while Luongo is already in his prime (on a shit team).

I wouldn\'t do it. Wouldn\'t even do the Dipietro one. Try Gagner and Dipietro. I might do that. Gagner will be good, probably great- but nowhere near Backstrom.

Oh man...lets get one thing straight. Backstrom is NOT going to be top 15 in pts ever. You have a chance to get the best player in the deal...Luongo. Do it.

I hate to disagree ddp but Backstrom will be a constant 90+ point getter with 65+ assists year in year out. Gotta love having Ovy on your line

I\'d do this trade simply because you already have a lot of talent a Centre. Luongo is arguably the best in the business, so you definitely receive an upgrade in goal and I think you can afford the hit at Centre. Depending on what the other guy has available at RW, I would be tempted to place Cheechoo in the mix and try to get a better RW. You can sell this by stating you are already giving up a number 1 centre and and a number 1 goalie, so by offering a good RW, you may make your RW even stronger. I would still do the deal without this RW offer though.

I would not mind either side of the trade. so i would look to who whould you get to pick up with your free roster spot. Often that is the clincher.
