Couture/Pietrangelo vs Neal/Josi - which side wins?

Hi all,

currently being offered the Couture/Pietrangelo side in return for shipping away Neal and Josi. What would you do? Is this an accept, reject, or a counter in your eyes?

With my scoring format I think it's a bit of a low offer, initially. Although I DID just snag Neal off the wire before his little scoring run he is on now.

Rest of his team is as follows:
F - Malkin, Stamkos, Scheifele, Radulov, Ehlers, Miller
D - Shattenkirk, Hedman, Doughty, Vatanen
G - Price, Murray, Talbot, Vasilevskiy

He is currently far out in first by 214 points to the next guy, where I'm in 5th 276 points behind him in first.

I feel you're getting low balled.

Pietrangelo isn't really a high scoring defenseman so it would be quite the step down from Josi. I'd also give the edge in goals and points to Neal this year. He's also a better +/- player than Couture.

Couture is a good buy low right now because there's no way he could possibly be as bad as he is now for the whole season...but Josi is the best player in the deal. I'd stand pat on this one.

Neal and Josi for me. As Bondon said Couture and Pietrangelo are buy low targets IMO and can be had for less than a Neal/Josi package.

My two cents?

Couture > Neal
Josi > Pietrangelo

Josi is far enough ahead of Pietrangelo though for me favour the Josi/Neal side slightly.

That said, IMO Couture is due to start putting up some big numbers soon. As well, his +/- is actually just fine most years.
