Is this points only, and how do D shape up vs forwards in said league?
Say D and F have about equal relative value, and it's points only, as neither probably contributes much peripherally anyways. I would want Nylander, just because he is a year ahead on the development curve, and I think he's the number one option the leafs have on RW, if not now then by the end of the season (unless Marner counts as a RW and passes him). Provorov is great, and will produce, but will find it hard to supplant Ghost for the real productive minutes/linemates.

Based on your lack of depth on D when you have to start 5 D, I would keep Provorov, him & Ghost are going to be running that Philly blueline and could put up very good points with that forward group too.

I think that I prefer Nylander here. Ghost has that PP1 locked down, so you can cancel significant PPP from Provorov's arsenal for the time being.

Looking a bit more closely at your roster, Nylander would give you three Leafs forwards. What are their position eligibilities? You definitely do not want three Leafs Cs. You'll be forced to bench guys far too often.

In that case, it's tough to go against Provorov and the Dpts category, but I stand by Nylander being the better asset here. Could you shop Provorov with someone else for an upgrade on said player, then pick up Nylander?

I prefer Provorov in your situation, but Nylander is a slightly better asset to deal right now. I generally want to see defenders play at the NHL level, but I'm making an exception for this guy.

fowler is a nice asset to own / potential 40 pt d-man so snap him up and make the prov/nylander deal .

..the other GM is in the same boat i am with regard to WillNy as he doesnt wanna move him but knows if he wants a good player he has to move a good player (this was his offer to me). to me the offer is as close as it gets with nobody winning or losing this one, its about moving similar assets for position requirements, he needs a D, i need another solid RW, although i do have some dual eligibles coming. I was after him about Nylander a while ago as well, still am really, just not sure if Prov is the one to move or not, i really am looking forward to him...

i guess thats why im having a hard time here..is Prov gonna be a Weber or a Karlsson or a Hedman?
