It seems Kuba was told that if he didn\'t waive his NTC to go to Ottawa, he wouldn\'t be playing in Tampa anyway. Without an NMC, he could still be waived and (if clearing waivers) demoted.

Nolan Pratt is close to signing in the KHL, having had no interest from the NHL.

Those owners of the Lighting are really starting to sound like huge pricks. I know they just signed a bunch of free agents and stuff but this stuff can\'t endear them to other players coming there and worrying about this crap.
