I like Eberle better. He'll do great playing next to McDavid
Salary doesn't matter, which one do you prefer?
Thoughts?

I got Scheifele by a hair
16/17 proj: Schiefele 70, Eberle 68
I'll go Scheifele - I feel they will put up similar numbers, but Scheifele can generate his own offence, Eberle is going to be dependent on McDavid for a lot of his.

Scheifele
Scheifele to me is a much bigger talent, but man if Eberle gels with McDavid that is hard to pass on.
Scheifele by 10-15 points

WOW... this is surprising. Points only? Eberle hands down IMO.
Schief is taking the slow road to point totals. 61 last year as a career high. Eberle bested that 3 times now...and hats without McDavid.
My money is on Eberle... big time
I think you have to consider the way that Scheifele has matured Ito his points - I don't like relying on players line mates to determine their points so if I want the safe play then it's MS but if I go risk reward I go Eberle..in this eason I'm not sure I take the risk
Experience is the teacher of all things.
Scheifele took off last year and he had a "slow start" which was his normal last year. He should keep his new pace going.
I'm surprised so many people are for Scheifele over Eberle. I like Scheifele too but think he's more unproven, considering he only had 49 points in the previous season
Yeah what a bum only putting up 49 pts in his sophmore season which was 15 more than his rookie season. Going into this season Eberle's previous season (last year) had him post 47. I wouldn't write Eberle off because of that.
I wouldn't say Scheifele is unproven but trending upward. I think they will be close but give the slight edge to Scheifele. Besides wasn't he the 2nd highest scorer after the all star break (or a little after that time) behind only Crosby ... seems like good progression for me.
I think we've all waited for Eberle before now and have enjoyed the 'frustration' of owning him...
