    Default Trade Help

a little background salary cap keeper league. G A P PP +- HITS

I have Price, Bishop, Mrazek and Helle

I want to deal a goalie for Tarasenko or Laine

My offer was Bishop, Tatar and 2nd for Tara- this was declined

He countered with Monaghan and Mrazek for Tara and Little-- I'm thinking

I am worried about Bishop as UFA where he will go and what he will sign for. I'm also worried about Det being awful for the next 3 years.

I am thinking about countering that with Galchenyuk and Mrazek or Bishop for Tarasenko and something. Don't think he will trade Laine.

    Any suggestions here?

I would take Monahan and Mrazek for Tank and Little. I assume Little is more of a cap throw in that you can fit and he can't?

Run with the Mrazek/Tank trade. Bishop is a stud. He's gonna be a starter wherever he goes (very likely a contender) and Mrazek is a decent goalie but on middling team. Monahan hurts a little, but you win this deal.

Bishop is a top goalie in the league and I draft him miles ahead of Mrazek. I think getting Tank and Little for Monahan/Mrazek is a steal and a way better deal for you than the original.
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

If both are C in your league, I prefer owning Monahan slightly. I like the talent around him a little more and the direction Calgary is going in a lot more than MTL. Galch probably has a slightly higher ceiling, but Monahan is a little safer and more likely to reach his ceiling. But i wouldn't move around that trade much. Take what he's offering you there. Its a steal

If he takes Galchenyuk instead of Monahan, I definitely lean that way. I'm not big on Monahan but he is playing with Gaudreau and that goes a long way.

Wth no real benefits I think I prefer Monaghan over Galchenyuk... Mon has already demonstrated he goes where Gadreau goes

    Any thoughts on this offer:

Mrazek, Tatar, Monaghan, Bjorkstrand for Tarasenko, Schenn, Strome and Little

Getting too complicated. Simplify it and make sure you get the piece(s) you want. Not random fodder
