Better offensive system, better linemates IMO, better PPmates for sure, playing at home in front of family and friends, and Erik Karlsson. Stamkos had his best season under Guy Boucher.
He just scored 58 points on a team that had only 3 50 point players in total and only one 50 point winger (important as a playmaking centre).
I wouldn't bet Brassard getting 70, just saying he has a decent chance. I am pegging him around 65-66 this season. He's very underrated going into this season.
Some great names in this thread. 70 point isn't easy to achieve these days.
McDavid - if he plays 70 games, he'll get 70+ points, no doubt here.
Kucherov, Forsberg, MacKinnon, Eichel - these guys I think are capable to get 70 this year.
Stone, Scheifele - definitely maybe.
I don't see Lucic, Palat or Brassard getting 70 points... ever.
