Whitney, Filatov and now Backstrom.

I know that (or at least hope) the last two are not too serious but my point is that this is the off-season and my guys are dropping like flies.

Ok... glad I got that off my chess.

I hear ya. I\'ve got Whitney and Backstrom, and hoping to nab Filatov in next week\'s draft. I\'ve also had Hanzal recovering from surgery, and apparently EJ is still healing from a shoulder injury and may not play preseason games. And I have Radulov too! All this, and now Dobber\'s got me worried that Price lost too many pounds this summer, and his game could suffer. The off-season has not been kind.

Yup, gotta love those injuries. Last year we did our one-year draft in mid September, at which time I was able to snag these guys:

Boyle
Bergeron
Semin
Sakic
Weber

I also had Stastny, Toews, Heatley, Perry, and Connolly, which meant half of my top twenty guys were out for at least 2-3 weeks.

Needless to say, I didn\'t win.... :S
