    Default Zibanejad vs Monahan

In a salary cap league, with 12F 6D 2G, cap is the same than NHL at 74M, who do you draft first ?

    Zibanejad, 1 year at 2.63M
    or
    Monahan at 6.3M

treat it as if they are both paid the same cause that finally year in OTT will be over and the money will be the same. Take the guy who you think is more talented and will have more opportunities.

*I am going to assume this is a one year league and is points only*

Cap leagues that mirror the NHL cap are known for having the cap set cripplingly low. In this case I would want Zibanejad. He may not get as many points as Monahan but saving $3.67M will allow you flexibility in other areas.

Sorry. Points Only. I am wondering who will be selected first if we start the draft from scratch i.e. who is the best value.

Monahan. It might have been closer if Zibby didn't play for NY but I'm not optimistic for his future in the city where offense goes to die.
