Default 10 keepers in this list.

Salary Cap League. Points only. For Goalers: 2 points per win + 1 for shutout. 10 teams.
    There are 15F, 8D, 3G.

I have to keep only 10 and I have a hard time for the final cut. The top 6 seems easy in my mind.

    John Tavares
    Nicklas Backstrom
    Roman Josi
    Victor Hedman
    John Carlson
    Devan Dubnyk

Then, I have to pick 4 in this list. I put in bold what I think I will do for now. Please help !

    Cam Talbot
    Nikita Kucherov
    Gabriel Landeskog
    Kyle Turris
    Andre Burakovsky
    Brock Nelson
    Elias Lindholm
    Ryan Strome
    Cody Ceci
    Noah Hanifin

I loved Kucherov but I assume he will get 7M. I think that he's not a deal anymore in a salary cap league

Tough thread to answer because cap leagues can have a crunch on a player.

If Kucherov is a 70pt player, making $7m...
    Is he better than say
    Elias Lindholm, a 45pt player, making $3m...

Forwards will eventually be paid at about $1m per 10pts...
That's kind of the going rate for NHL forwards these days.

1st. How does one even make a call on this without seeing Ryan Strome's RFA contract???
2nd. I like Elias Lindholm for 45-55pts this year... as much as 60pt if he truly breaks out. At $2.7m for the next two years, he's on your list.
3rd. As is Hanifin, potentially 30pts from a $1m player, yes please.

Talbot & Landeskog (a 60+pt player at $5.5m) are my other two with Elias & Hanifin.
    Strome is the big wildcard.

All this said, some "Cap" leagues have Caps so high that you can't even hit them... in which case, you should just not mention the cap part and keep guys like Kucherov, (obviously).
If you "feel" the cap crunch, then you may need to make cap space by rostering the ELC players.

Ideally, get Kucherov into your list, but as mentioned above, it depends on your cap situation.

The cap is 74M. I think Lindholm is a safer bet than Strome. With this vision in mind, why not Burakovski above Lindholm ? I expect 45 pts, but for only 0.925M.

74 Mil is low depending on the number of teams. If it's above 20 teams then maybe not so much.
I'm curious how many teams there are in the league to be able to sort out how much value to give each player and their salary.

Wow I just missed that! I saw the 10 keepers, and then must have skimmed over the 10 teams bit.
In that case it is a tiny cap, and Kucherov may not be a great cap deal.

Seems very difficult to select keepers based on a cap league without contract info. When is your list due? I'd have a very hard time dropping Kucherov before seeing his $ value. On your list, I think I'm definitely want to gamble on Hanifan, Burakovsky and Talbot.

    There are 15F, 8D, 3G

    John Tavares - easy keep
    Nicklas Backstrom - easy keep
    Nikita Kucherov - easy keep
Elias Lindholm - plenty of opportunity for thisyoung player
Gabriel Landeskog - I think there is a ton of untapped offensive potential in this player
Kyle Turris - I really want to keep him
Andre Burakovsky - guys like this available at the draft
Brock Nelson - guys like this available at the draft
Ryan Strome - guys like this available at the draft

    Roman Josi - easy keep
    Victor Hedman -easy keep
    John Carlson -easy keep
Cody Ceci - guys like this available at the draft
Noah Hanifin - guys like this available at the draft

    Devan Dubnyk - easy keep
Cam Talbot - Not sure I love this choice but with 3G starts all of the league's workhorse goalies will be taken. Talbot is one of them.
