Who would you keep ? Capped league!

Hey guys!

I have this capped keeper league with my friends and I have a hard time this years. Every years we can protect 6 forward, 3 defensemen and 1 goalie and then we have a draft, and we need a minimum of 15 players total. We need to respect the 74M$ of the nhl.

Right now I have those forward on my roster list and I dont know which 6 I should protect, that's why I need your help..Points are only based on goals and passes. My main goal is to find to best player for the right price..I've already figure out that I'll keep crosby, panarin and backstrom but after that I'm confused.

So I have :

Crosby, Sidney

Perry, Corey

Backstrom, Nicklas

Monahan, Sean

Couture, Logan

Phil Kessel

Johnson, Tyler

Panarin, Artemi

Tomas Tatar

Schwartz, Jaden

Crosby 8.7M
Backstrom 6.7M
Schwartz 5.3M (I would take him a head of Monahan at 6.3M... save the 1M)
Panarin 3.5M
Turris 3.5M
Johnson 3.3M

This is 6 forwards for 31M. This leaves you 43M for the rest of the players.

You should post who your goalies and defensemen are as well.

If it's only cap hit and not AAV (would be good to share this info in the future), then Panarin's hit goes down to $812K this year.

I might be interested in Tatar over Schwartz since you have such a tight cap.
Also wondering why you use the NHL cap (unless this is a massive 24+ team league?).

I would love to see your other keepers too in order to know how much you're saving/spending there. Might change the strategy on the forwards a little.

Panarin for sure then. And definitely some question marks on D with the unknown salaries. I'm probably dropping Maata of the group. Unless Lindholm/Trouba get something like 8mil.

is that your entire team? with those D men I would potentially drop Lindholm, Trouba and Maata and use some ELC/drafted guys with lower hits and spend my money on forwards as the point differential would probably make sense
