I am always up for a mid-summer game...
I will say that Nashville signs him.... sweet music for the way Vesey treated them!
Since we have one going for Jimmy Vesey, I thought I would start one for Quentin Shore. For comparison, here are their college stats.
Vesey - 144 points in 4 years
Shore - 98 points in 4 years
They are both the same size and Quentin shore is exactly 364 days younger than Vesey. Both players become UFAs on August 15th, 2016 as they chose not to sign with the NHL team that drafted them.
I predict Shore signs in LA to be with his older brother Nick who's actually playing in the NHL. Their oldest brother Drew is currently also a UFA after not receiving a qualifying offer from Calgary.
What's that, you don't care about Shore? Then you may want to temper your expectations for Jimmy Vesey.

I say New Jersey. After missing out on Vesey (after the recent news of interest) they feel they need someone else to maybe step into a scoring role, and can give the youngster a chance to play with Hall.

Agree on LA.
If somebody can play with their brother... they'll likely do it.
Chicago or Buffalo if neither gets Vesey
Thomas DiPauli is another college FA going to Aug 15th http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=130881
Not great, but still a depth chance: 78 pts in 4 years (145 games)

Careful guys, rataylor will be in here to get on you guys about not understanding sarcasm.
Honestly Chuck, there's a reason Vesey is more hyped than Shore and the stats bear that out. 46 more points (in 23 less games) is quite a huge difference. I won't pretend to know much about Shore but there's a reason for that. Vesey is hyped because he has the talent to immediately fit in to a Top 6 role in the NHL.
Is he over-hyped a bit? For sure! People are acting like he is on par with Eichel or Matthews or Laine. That is certainly not the case. But it's not often a team can land a top 6 ready 22 year old through free agency. In the dog days of Summer, people are going to drone on about that forever, so he's bound to become over-hyped simply due to the amount of exposure he receives.
Without me, it's only "aweso".
Pittsburgh
Who is Quinton Shore?
- I said... "God damn this tablet is heavy!"
1. NYR (if they miss on Vesey)
2. NJ
3. CAR
It sounds like Shore is joining the LA Kings for rookie camp.

Apparently so is Shane McColgan. Anybody remember that name. Was stoked his draft year that i got him in the 4th round and then pfft. Nothing. Any chance at all he gets a contract at least a 2-way as opposed to just an AHL deal.
And surprised that Shore didn't actually sign a contract with someone since there was apparently interest. I see him as better than DiPauli who got a contract.
