I'm keeping Larsson. He's probably top pairing, and will get a fair share of chances on the PP. Sekera wasn't a huge success last season, and I don't see him being all that much better.
We have a thread about Larsson and his projection for next season. How about Sekera and who would you rather have. I have a deal in place and the guy wants one or the another. I suddenly hesitate between the two. Who will end up on the backend of the PP? One of these two or Klefbom or a Tyson Barrie?

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I'd take my chances with Larsson.

I would prefer Larsson, but I do not think he is PP 1. I think that is for Klefbom or maybe even Nurse this year.
Larsson cause Sekera weakassed, really the kind of dman the Oilers need get rid of. What a bad move to give him 5.5 until 2021. I am a die-hard leaf fan but I watch Oilers now cuz McD's on it.
KFHL - 14 Team H2H keeper,NHLsalcap, protect 17/20, (4D, 3X(C,RW,LW), 2G, filler to 20, plus 2IR) ten waivers picks per season.
Cats Skaters: G/A/Pts/BLK/HITS/SOG/PIM/GWG/SHP/PPP; Goalies W/SO/GAA/SvPct/SOG
C: Crosby, Kadri, RNH, Roslovic
LW: Hall, Lindblom, Kubalic, Bratt, Lemieux, Gurianov
RW: Palmieri, Niederreiter dropping soon, Wheeler
D: Chabot, Josi, Gustafsson, Krug, McNabb
G: Rask, Bishop, Binnington
Multi-cat or straight points? Larsson puts up good roto stats. Straight points? I'd probably gamble on Sekera as I don't think Larsson will see any PP time. With Sekera's 5.5m cap hit and NMC, you have to think they want him to succeed...

Agreed - that and Sekera had his chance and didn't take it... he may get back up again if Larsson starts and fails but Larsson will get his touch
Experience is the teacher of all things.
Any of Klefbom, Larsson, Sekera, Nurse, or Davidson could hit 40+ points but tough to say who gets the most PP1 time.
This year, I'd rank them:
Klefbom
Sekera
Larsson
Davidson
Nurse

In particular, see: “I would not call Adam a pure power play guy,” Chiarelli said. That’s an area we need to fill, we need to improve.”
This does not inspire confidence in me that Larsson is viewed as a PP guy, and the OP is in a points-only pool.
Larsson. I think he is going to surprise people coming over to the Oilers from a far less offensive minded team in NJ.
