Yes he did! I know the quotes are on the internet I will try and find them. He said the price is high and there nowhere near a deal but they would negotiate through the night if there was. As the broadcasters on team 1040 said it sounded more serious then a unicorn deal. Also he specifically said there is a price although high to get him. Point being a price...

I don't understand these Subban rumours. Why would Montreal want to trade not only one of the best d-men in the league, but also a great ambassador? Yes his contract's AAV is $9M, but he's in his prime and the deal runs out when he's only 32. You just can't replace this type of player.
