I've been hearing that STL still wants another go to sign him. U less they get their socks knocked off, I don't see him being moved before Christmas.

STL has some minor hoarding tendencies......I don't see them dealing him.....
I mean that can't even play with just one head coach anymore.....I doubt they want to give up a good dman like Shatty
And they apparently don't mind letting key UFA leave with nothing to show for them ......Backes and Brouwer exit stage right

Leafs also need a RH Dman. JVR for Shattenkirk? JVR has 1 extra year on his deal - both deals are at 4.25M.
Likely just a pipe dream but Stamkos, Shattenkirk & Anderson would be a fantastic off season for the buds.
