Scotty Bowman in Toronto?

I was reading that Bowman is considering a Senior Advisory position with the Leaf organization and that there would be a shake up. Ferguson and Maurice being let go.

If this were to happen who do you think he would bring in as General Manager? Could Dave Lewis become the coach? He worked with Bowman for years.

Any thoughts? What would you Leaf fans like to see happen with Bowman becoming \'the man\'? Do you like the idea of Bowman becoming \'the man\' or has he had his day?

I do think there are better people out there in guys like David Poile, Dean Lombardi... However Bowman would be a 100% improvement over the repugnant two headed double team of Larry Tanenbaum and Richard Peddie.

Bowman told TSN that all these statements were false. He said he hasn\'t been offered anything from the Leafs as far as President goes. He also said that he would probably decline even if he was offered. He has a great thing going in Detroit, why not keep it simple. The Scotty of old will not be running the show in T.O. if he was to come to T.O. it wouldn\'t be the same Scotty B.

Don\'t see this happening - foolish for Scotty - he doesn\'t need the aggravation of trying to clean up the cesspool and sure as hell not for a meagre 2M.
