As much as the Blues probably want him back, I think he goes UFA.
Not sure if he ends up in Vancouver but I can see him out there.
Troy Brouwer has thought about joining the Vancouver Canucks in free agency.
"Family and friends, playing for my hometown — it would be an experience for sure," he told Vancouver's News 1130 Sports on Monday. Brouwer is open to returning to the Blues if that works out too, but he can become an unrestricted free agent in July. May 30 - 5:27 PM

Brouwer, even if he does hit UFA, I think he wants to win, so I don't see him in Vancouver.

this could be his last big paycheck. the nucks are too stupid to rebuild so i can see them throwing big $$$ at lucic/brouwer/eriksson. won't get all of them but they'll find a way to overpay 1 or 2.
The venom for the C-nucks on this site is truly entertaining.......

I think part of the problem with the Canucks is that the ownership doesnt want a rebuild, but majority of the fans do.
Signing Brouwer would be stupid for the Canucks but I can see them doing it.

I'm just not sure Brouwer will really want to go to Vancouver. He can get the same irrational contract from a better team.

I don't know if this is aimed at my comment or just Praba's. For me, it's not that I dislike the Canucks, it's just that I think the organization has been spinning its wheels a bit the last few years, and I don't see the pieces for them to content in the next few years. I think Praba's comment is just a more vocal version of that.

The Canucks need to rebuild more then any team in the NHL right now.. Brouwer is saying he wants to play in Vancouver just to please his friends and family.. Unless the Canucks are backing up the brinks truck, I think he will sign elsewhere..

The NMC (Sedins) and NTC's (Burrows, Hansen, Higgins, Edler, Miller) make it harder to move some of these guys, and these are the guys they should be moving out. You can bet if Brouwer comes, he's getting one of those in his contract too.

I think we'll see very few NMC clauses this summer -- unless it's a guy that is a sure-fire protection with expansion.
And NTCs won't hold the same value to players perhaps. They'll know they are still vulnerable.
Man, I hope the Nucks don't overpay this summer....

Would be a great add for playoff teams but I honestly can't see teams like VAN pursuing him. His regular season play just isn't consistent enough in my opinion.
