I have the same opinion about Trump as I did Trudeau.
Each is in way over his head.

How much destruction will they cause?
That depends on:
1) How good/smart are the people that surround them on a daily basis?
2) How well will they listen to those people?

I have a feeling Trump would make a fairly inconsequential President. In reality he wouldn't really be doing decisionmaking as much as OKing decisions of advisors he trusts. Basically I think whoever wins his favour will ultimately be making the calls in the Oval Office. Not to say he can't offer a lot of opinion on the business world...but at least early on I think Trump would be a pretty timid and inconsequential leader. And there's a good chance he would be blocked by Congress and Senate quite a bit if the Dems control those houses. And even then a lot of Republicans won't support his legislation. And if people are still scared remember the judicial wing of government in the States is hyperactive.

There is something seriously wrong with the election structure and process in the U.S. if Trump and Clinton are the two final presidential candidates. Perhaps one should have to earn a vote instead of it being a birthright. Yeah, I know that's opening another can of worms but if Trump and Clinton is what happens when you have mostly uninformed and highly emotional and illogical voters deciding the race, you know something should be done.

At the risk of being accused of nit-picking, HC was only in the government for Obama's first term. John Kerry took over at State for the second term. So the streak ended in 2012.
