    Default RFA Ranking

This is for a salary cap H2h league in which we can submit bids for RFAs.

Cats are G,A,PIM,+/-, FOW, Special team points, blks. But I'm mostly concerned with G and A.

How would you rank the following potential targets in terms of upside? Also curious to know where you'd fit RNH in that group as he may be a potential trade target. (RFA bids are pretty costly so trading for RNH would likely be easier)

    Kucherov
    Mackinnon
    Gaudreau
    Forsberg
    Scheifele
    Barkov
    Schwartz
    Monahan
    Jenner
    RNH

This would be my ranking without FW as a category. Since it is there, it makes it a lot tougher. Do you value the single position C more than the winger that will out perform him? Or do you take the winger and then find FW elsewhere?

With the FW, Barkov and Scheifele probably jump over Schwartz for me, with Barkov basically equalling Forsberg. There are some very close names in here though.

Wow, tough list. Many are focusing on the points and not the peripherals as much as they should if I am looking at some of the other lists. I know, the OP said he's concerned with G and A, but overall, with these peripherals and league setup, here's how I like these guys:

    Kucherov
    Gaudreau
    Monahan
    Mackinnon
    Barkov
    Forsberg
    RNH
    Scheifele
    Schwartz
    Jenner

The difference between some of these kids is so minimal it's scary.

Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

Not sure if this will help, but I think I would do this list without blocks ,especially with the emphasis of the OP on scoring cats. I think the key here is also keeper/dynasty league so I'm looking more long term blended with the now (and these guys are really close):

    Mac
    Barkov
    Kucherov
    Gaudreau

    schiefele / Monahan
    Schwartz
    Forsberg
    Jenner

I like Monahan's upside. Scheifele may get there, but I want to see some repeatability. I question upside on Schwartz; with such a loaded forward group and Fabbri in position to take more minutes, I'm a seller rather than a buyer. RNH - never been impressed with him and feel he is overrated. Maybe if he moves to another team, but I would still want to see some better results.
