I would swap Rielly for Gio (I think he'll have a better season than Gio plus he has a lower cap), and then for #6, I would roll with Gachenyuk (he has played 3.5 seasons, time for a big breakout?).

You can't keep Rielly (35th in D points) over Giordano (6th in D points) in a keep 6 league. You can keep Rielly as a the 6th "unbolded" player over Galchenyuk if you want.

In this league his setting are 16 minimum, dress 10 with a $72M cap. This is not a tight cap. You need to spend wisely but you don't sacrifice a guy like Giordano ($6.75M) for the sake of this cap set up.

I'm keeping Rielly based on the production. I think he tops Gio next year. The cap hit being lower was a bonus. The age is another bonus. Age and salary being equal, I still take Rielly.

Even though nobody really keeps goalies, TB will still be a solid team next year and take the starter there to grab those Ws and SOs. With 12 teams, I doubt you will be able to upgrade on hime very much if at all (but you know your league better than I do).

Just because other teams don't keep goalies doesn't mean you shouldn't. Keep one of the stronger ones in Bishop then you don't have to worry about redrafting one early on (like the others will focus on because they didn't keep one).

Why are you keeping Larkin and Draistil over Giordano/(Rielly?) [Not trolling, I respect your opinion]. I keep reading through these forums that in a very limited and small league keeper that you want to hold onto the best possible players then scoop up the rest of the roster through the draft.

Because I dont like keeping Dmen in a limited keeper unless they are something special. Giordano is a solid Dman but in a keep five, I'd rather retain the forwards and redraft the Dmen.
