Looked around the Russian press to see how they are reporting this and it is pretty much the same, minus the Medvedev interviews.
However, there is more news here.
http://www.allhockey.ru/news/35620/
allhockey.ru report that they have learned that the case of Radulov will be decided in a North American court whereas the cases of Loktionov, Voinov and Mayorov will be decided in Russian courts. There is no source cited for this, and it is unclear whether or not this has been agreed upon by both sides, so treat it as an unconfirmed report.
Comment: If this is the case, the chances of Radulov being forced to honor is contract increase, but the chances of Loktionov, Voinov and Mayorov to be in North America decrease.

Some additional information from the IIHF press release on this:
\"The meeting was attended by representatives from associations and leagues from Belarus, Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland\"
\"The participating national member associations and leagues expressed the wish to sign a separate player transfer agreement with the KHL and as soon as possible initiate discussions with the NHL and the NHLPA about formulating a new player transfer agreement between the IIHF, KHL and the NHL & NHLPA\"
Comment: Which suggests these countries may very well be on board with whatever agreement the NHL and the KHL strike
\"As of today, the KHL will continue to respect all legally valid contracts signed with NHL clubs and also all legally valid contracts signed with IIHF clubs, subject to the NHL not signing KHL registered players under legally valid contracts\"
Comment: Cease fire for now, but a potential sticking point is in the wording \"KHL registered players under legally valid contracts\" rather than the \"all legally valid contracts\" language used regarding the NHL.
\"The European IIHF member associations formulated an ambition to create a standard player contract in order to strengthen the validity of contracts in IIHF affiliated leagues\"
Comment: Interesting to see if this materializes, and if it does whether such contracts would still allow for \'buyout clauses\' or \'NHL release clauses\' - the NHL standard contracts do not.
Final Comment: I wouldn\'t be surprised if unofficially Bob Nicholson served as the go-between between the NHL and KHL here.
