It's so wrong for you to tease us with the possibility of anyone getting 127 points in the NHL.

LOL, Rads evolved into a superstar in the KHL, and plays an NHL-style physical game. The only question is his ability to adjust to the lack of time and space that comes with the smaller ice, but I think he'll have a very good ability to produce.

If Panarin can put up 73 next to Patty Kane, I think people pegging Radulov in the 50-60 range are going awfully conservative.

Yeah I think there's often going to be a degree of pessimism tied in with a hatred of his attitude. I would say 50 should probably be considered a disappointment if that's all he winds up with

I get the dislike towards him but that should not get in the way of his perception as a fantasy player. No reason to get all sentimental about who we own on our teams. Just win.

Yeah for sure. Oh well, hopefully we'll know soon. His KHL contract ends April 30th.

You know, as I look at the fit with Florida, it ticks all the boxes:

    • Great young core
    • Solid vet leadership
    • Playoff team
    • HUGE CAP ROOM! Look at the money coming off the books! It's nearly $25M!
      • Campbell @ 7M
      • Mitchell @ 4.25M
      • Purcell @ 4.5M
      • Hudler @ 4M
      • Jagr @ 3.5M
      • Montoya @ 1M

I'd expect they'll re-sign Jagr, and will need to put some money into extensions for Huberdeau, Ekblad, Smith, Trochek, Gudbranson, Petrovic... but there was already $4M in cap space there.

My call is NYI or FLA for Radulov, but man FLA lines up.

Detroit – Solid Russian successor to Dats.
Avs – played for Roy already
    Florida – reasons already said
Washington – only cause of Ovi, Kuzy, and Burks. Solid Russian core there where he could feel more comfortable

NYI have reportedly said they have 0 interest in Rad.

Will Radulov be playing with Kane? Will he be playing with someone he has instant chemistry like Panarin did with Kane?

Panarin and Kane were products of each other this year, however forecasting Radulov to have a similar symbiotic relationship with someone is an awfully optimistic prediction.
