I'm not sure there is a receiver in the league better at drawing PI than Torrey Smith haha. He's a terrible fantasy own though.

It was my favourite! Flacco would use his cannon and just toss it up there. Didn't need to be on the mark, just in the area. Torrey would only wind up with maybe 800 yards receiving but would add another 400 or so in PIT. He was the best and it worked so synergistically with what Flacco was capable of.

Two year $11.5 million. Not sure on the guarantees but this doesn't seem like a big deal. Hope he earns every penny.

I do wish that the Ravens had cut Lardarius Webb given that they signed Eric Weddle. No need for two free safeties. Could have used that money on keeping Osemele. Or maybe the plan is to move Webb back to corner. Don't like that either considering he hasn't been able to hold up well.

Broncos have informed RB CJ Anderson they are matching Miami's offer sheet, per source. He stays in Denver.

He’s a big paycheque and the Pats couldn’t pay him next yr. He’s a monster but borderline too much for what he brings.

Also Jaime, Hightower, Butler and Ryan are FA next yr and they need to free up money for them.

As for the Pats, they get help on keeping Brady upright. Cooper is a good return, and maybe Belichuck is hoping he can turn around the former 7th overall (2013).

Not really surprising...they had very little option to do anything but resign him. They could have gotten him back for a lot cheaper if they would have put a 2nd round tender on his RFA rights. Not doing so opened the door for a team to make an overpayment. With everything else the Broncos lost this off-season, they needed to match this.

From what I read, Cooper was a throw in. He sat on the bench the 2nd half of last season so they were looking to move his salary out as well.
