Rinne is having an off year and I can't help but think it's due in part to his age, goalies drop off around 32-33. So being another year older won't help, I'd go with Halak.

I think it's no coincidence that Rinne's drop off is closely tied to when the two guys who made him one of the top goalies in the league (Mitch Korn and Barry Trotz) left for Washington. I also think he isn't the same player after the injury, surgery and infection he had. Age will only make this probalem worse, so I would go with Halak.

I think nashville is trying to score more goals leading to turnovers which of course strays from their roots of being defensive minded .

alot of the highlights I notice rinne is hung out to dry .

anyways , Halak + his handcuff for me .
