Question Need a goalie: who to pick up? Who to drop?

Roster/settings in sig (team 1). I've bolded the options I'm leaning most strongly towards.

    Goalies available:

    Grubauer
    - reported to play 25% of remaining schedule to give Holtby a break for playoffs
Hutton - second fiddle to Rinne and Preds will give Rinne every opportunity to improve his play
Mason - will get starts but subpar percentages
Lehtonen - sharing duty, will get wins but subpar percentages
Markstrom - won't play a lot, average performer
Lack - won't play a lot, average performer

I'm probably dropping Anisimov (12 points in 19 games since Jan 1, wing eligibility, Blackhawks have good schedule for H2H playoffs), or Stastny (14 points in 17 games since Jan 1, Schwartz just returned to the Blues lineup).

    Thoughts?

Easy choice is Mason, his numbers with Philly are terrific (other than wins) since he was traded there.

    Mason.

He is the starter in Philly and you are only hoping he performs over a small sample size.

Don't think I like dropping either of those guys to add a little-used backup tender that will get you a handful of starts for you down the stretch. Neuvirth just returned and he will put a dent in Mason's productivity.

Id almost be inclined to drop Anisimov and Stastny for Lehtonen and Mason. In a 12 team league I can't believe you only have 2 goalies. Especially with all those cats to them. That would be my choice....but if choosing between the two I'd go Lehtonen for sure.

Uhhhh... 2 of the goalie categories are percentages. Having a subpar goaltender hurts more than it helps. SO are such a fleeting thing they're not worth pursuing strategically, and an extra W isn't worth it if you're compromising your GAA and SV% along the way.

Update - so the following guys are available now:

    - Mason
    - Neuvirth
    - Lehner
    - Johnson
    - Lehtonen
    - Hiller
    - Condon
    - Varlamov*

    * = Varlamov is available via trade for a late pick. Is he so much of an upgrade over the above FA options that Varly warrants spending a pick?
