Default Mika Zibanejad, Frederik Andersen for Rinne

Thoughts on this for team 1 in Sig? I am in first and thinking adding another workhorse really bolsters my roster for second half but I do love Mika.

If you're in first, this shores up a key position for you and is worth doing. I love being safe with goaltending

thanks for your input Dobber and thanks for this great site. In your expert opinion if I trade away Mika do you feel I still have enough center depth to cover FOW category? I have 3413 FOW currently on season next has 3047; I think I will be okay but just asking. Thoughts on these teams of mine?

Mika is solid depth but Rinne as #3 is so tempting. Think my squad can suffer losing him? This is not a league where I can go on waiver and pick up a second line center especially one with good linemates.

I'm surprised you couldn't find a replacement for Zib, what's out there for you?

fopr example top 6 waiver wire forwards now are:

    Callahan
    Yakupov
    Craig Smith
    Matt Moulson
    Ehlers
    Anders Lee

Brandon Sutter is farther down the list as well as Berglund.

Would a downgrade from Zib to Ehlers really hurt you? You're pretty stacked at forward, I think you can afford it IMO.

Good deal for you. I'm with Dikoi, you should be able to find a replacement on the wire for Zib. Then again, you are in a pretty deep league about 300 or so owned.

I figure I am overreacting, I drafted Mika, I know his worth, I built this squad to dominate and it really has quite frankly been on a two month run now so there is always that thought of am I crazy to change this? Also, twice this season I dealt breakout goalies, first Hellebuyck and I lost the trade badly receiving Zucker who I thought would break out and the next time Domingue for Hoffman which is working out just fine; this would basically be my last move for the postseason run and currently playing person who is in second in my division and winning 8-6-1. today last day. Be nice to further establish the win margin (would be 4).

I agree this is a solid buy low for you, although I like Andersen longterm you are poised to win now so I'd make the move.

You should be fine for FOW, Kopitar, Dubinsky, Giroux are beasts at FOW, and if you are concerned you could add Sutter....but I would suggest to add Ehlers, would be a fantastic longterm pick up for you.

Thanks for your advice your advice gave me assurance and as I posted this today the person I'm trading with dropped Horvat so I put a waiver claim in for him immediately to fill the forward void. Rinne deal is done thanks everyone for advice I think this gives me a potent goaltending crop for second half and Rinne will play a crap ton of games during fantasy matchup dates in my schedule, 7 games during Week 2 of postseason!
