Default Kucherov and Mrazek for Ovechkin?

Was offered Ovechkin for my Kucherov and Mrazek. Without taking my needs into consideration sure you'd accept right away. But last month after goalie problems all year I dropped Mason and traded Ekman-Larsson for Halak. I finally had two quality, hot goalies I was keen to stick with, and have started to improve in save % and gaa, but I'm still 4th of 11 in both categories. I've slipped a bit in sog since playing Franson rather than OEL, so have been trying to trade Rinne or Hellebuyck for a better defenceman, like Letang, Muzzin, Edler. Without the bargaining chip of a few good goalies I'll probably be stuck with my d. Stick with Mrazek, or is Ovie too good to look for excuses to refuse?

I think Ovechkin is too good to pass. Also not to trade for Ovechkin to get more SOG from a d-man is nonsense, isn't he the biggest shooter in hockey?

This is good advice. If you're hurting in the SOG department, it makes even more sense to do this deal as that's right in Ovechkins wheelhouse.

I went with the trade. Thanks for the feedback. This isn't the direction I planned on taking my team... I wanted Halak and Mrazek to be my backbone and specifically liked having 3 good goalies from 3 divisions. If Rinne doesn't improve I'm still having problems in 3 categories (save%, gaa, and blocks). I was targeting a d man who shoots and blocks more than Franson if not as much as OEL, to address two needs. But Ovie's the best roto asset in the league: he not only gives me a huge boost in shots but likely makes me unstopppable in every scoring category and gives me a big improvement in hits. This likely means Girardi gets more playing time for me, as though he's not relevant offensively I'll depend on him to pick up the slack in blocks. A big change in strategy, but one that should be good for me. And if Rinne surprises and returns to top form the rest of the year... I'll simply win the league.

It's a good trade, as long as you are above GP pace for goalie... I think it will help you a lot.
Ovechkin is still THE absolute beast in SOG/HIT roto.

I think I was only hesitant because when I'm offered a trade without negotiation I suspect I might be taken advantage of. But yeah Ovie!!!

Another question while I'm here: when Scheifele's healthy, drop him, Zibanejad, or Hertl? I like Scheifele's multi-cat strengths and having both him and Zibanejad keeps me as a lock to win fow, but Hertl might be the best offensive asset if he stays on the top line.
